GEOS was established in 1973 as an english conversation school.In our long operating history, we have proven that we deliver original, effective and reliable teaching programs for children by professional instructors.

How do we achieve an evironment that is both fun and effective?

Children enjoy our fun lesson style and gain confidence in their communication in english within our classroom environment.We use teaching methods and facililtate a learning environment in which students can satisfy their curiosity and competitive spirit.

Our Preschool course is designed not only to educate and support children in the acquisition of communciation skills in english but also to support their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.We incorporate meal times as well as free play time within this course to help promote a relaxing environment in which the students develop their self-initiatives.

To establish a learning environment where the children rely on english as their daily means of communication.

2 to 4 years (only for students who have not yet started formal schooling)

This course is designed to compliment the subjects and topics that students cover in the public school system.In this english immersion course, elementary school aged students learn about a wide variety of topics with an interesting and refreshing approach.New themes are selected weekly to support the children in acquring scholastic proficiency with different modes of expression and learning .

We recommend for students in this course to attend 3 times per week.We do understand however, that the learning requirements of students varies from student to student.

Our goal at the completion of one year in this course is to increase the students understanding of english so that they learn to ‘think’ in english and communicate by understanding what is being said both literally and by interpretation of the situation rather than solely relying on translating what they are hearing.

By the completion of three years in this course, our aim is for students to be able to communicate in simple english naturally and progress after 5 years of study to be able to communicate effectively in english and be able to state their own ideas and concepts.

For students in this age group, one of the main focuses of this course will be pronunciation.A heavy emphasis is given to phonics throughout this program to bring students up to a basic level of reading and writing.Constant pronunication correction will be given so students develop a more natural sounding spoken english.

Toddler to Elementary School aged children (This course is designed to be the next progressive step for students who have completed the GEOS International Preschool program)

Our Language School course is a once a week english conversation course.This course can be combined with the Preschool and After School programs.This course offers a fun and practical learning environment and when attended in conjunction with our other programs, will offer students a faster learning path.
